Lebanon Claims First Win, Beats Kyrgyzstan 2-0 in Women's International Football Championship

Lebanon concluded the Four Nations Women’s International Football Championship with a consolation victory.

In the first match held today at Dasharath Stadium, Lebanon defeated Kyrgyzstan 2-0. For Lebanon, Christy Maalouf scored in the 13th minute, while Mya Rose netted in the 22nd minute.

Kyrgyzstan lost all three of its matches in the tournament. They were defeated 1-0 by Nepal in the first match and suffered a 5-0 loss against Myanmar in the second match.

Lebanon had lost its first match 3-1 against Myanmar and the second match 1-0 against Nepal. The final league match between the two finalists, Nepal and Myanmar, will also take place today, kicking off at 6 PM.
