Nepal has climbed one spot in the latest FIFA rankings, now occupying 175th place. According to the new rankings released by FIFA, Nepal’s score has increased from 935 points in early November to 938 points.
This improvement comes after Nepal played friendly matches against Tajikistan and Afghanistan this month. Although they lost to Tajikistan, they managed to secure a win against Afghanistan.
The boost in Nepal’s ranking is partly due to their victory over a higher-ranked team, with India, ranked 127th in South Asia, being among the teams they defeated.
Argentina remains at the top of the rankings, followed by France in second, Spain in third, England in fourth, and Brazil in fifth.
