After being signed by Chitwan, Tanvir stated, “I see this as a challenge. Representing Chitwan Rhinos in front of thousands of Nepali cricket fans will be an immensely proud moment. I believe there are many Pakistani cricket fans in Nepal as well.”
Other foreign players for Chitwan include Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton from Namibia, Luke Benkenstein and Ravi Bopara from England, and Hassan Eisakhil from Afghanistan. Except for Bopara, the rest have already arrived in Nepal.
